In My Opinion As A Host

[font=Georgia]From my point of view, MODERATORS are expected to be attentive to what's going on in the room. Whether it's just a simple hello from a new visitor or who's coming in and out while you are busy with your own conversations. Let us be the first to be hospitable when someone says hello to everyone just a form of welcome to them. Be quick to get rid of Spammers and Law Breakers (auto-kick) and never fail to put out warnings if it's just a minor violation. Do Not abuse your privileges as a mod by kicking someone just because you don't like him or her, or he or she is requested to be kicked by someone like your personal friend or favorite. Find out what the real problem is first. Do not fight with your fellow mods in the main chat, or better yet, try to settle your differences, period. As room officials, we want to have, what I call a OneVoice. Unity. One accord or understanding. And One opinion, though we may be different from one another, but we should boil things down to One where we can all agree on for the betterment of our chat room. Bottom line is...let's just have fun. Let's set aside our differences. After all, we can never like everyone completely anyway. NOW, you guys can tell me what you believe in as a moderator for !§HOW«N»TΞLL-[OneVo1cΞ]™![/font]

That was a really good description of what is expected of a mod and I agree working together is the way to get things done, and done well.

You hit all the key points Ron, I would only like to add that a Show N Tell MOD should also try to cam up at least once per visit if they can. SHOW N TELL not HIDE N SEEK... lol I'm done.

Ronski, very well spoken on our roles as moderators/admins/hosts. Especiall us as hosts, we need to keep our image positive. As for the rest of the mods, keep up the good work! I'm glad to have you guys on our side and I couldn't agree with ya more Ronski! Reppin SNT since 2007!

If we keep up this great support for the chat, and now forum, SNT will survive well into the years to come!

All mods should have a cam, cause Its the only true way to ID us as who we are, In the event of a hacked account or such. (remembering when his account was hacked a while back)

RJAJBABHDJOVD <333333333 You made some very solid points here. I think the mods have done well with the adaptation of the enviroment. I think welcoming newcomers is essential to gaining and retaining, new show n tell patrons. We have a stable foundation (and have for a long time) now lets build a skyscraper.

What i also do everytime i invite a new person as a friend is I ALSO INVITE THEM TO CHECK OUT THE BEST CHATROOM ehem* SHOW&TELL * ehem or if I've seen them from the room, I ASK THEM TO COME BACK AGAIN, and that I hope they had a good time lol
