Every moderator brings something special to our team. Day in, and day out they go out of their way, to make the chat room expeirience more enjoyable for everyone. This will be a new way for us to say thanks to those who we appreciate, for who they are, and what they do. When you see a Moderator doing something you appreciate, for the greater good of the room. Nominate them to become the Moderator of the week. The moderator of the week will receive an official moderator of the week spot on this forum, and by a special e-certificate (to be produced at a later point and time). Eligibility and entry requirements are as follows.

To Enter a nominee you must.

submit the user name, the stickam profile's url, and the reason you are nominating them. You must be an active member of ShowNTell, and a member of the SHOWNTELL forum.

all nominees shall be: A current member of the SHOWNTELL moderator team. You are not eligible to nominate yourself. and since this is my contest, i will not be eligible.

I would appreciate any other Moderators or Hosts that want to participate in the administration of this contest to contact me.

All nominees will be validated before they are eligible to be Moderator of the week.

all polls will be official and and polls and winners who are not official, will not be eligible.

Official polls are only eligible to be produced by a Host, myself or any other Moderator that I have agreed to assist me. All parties involved will be promptly listed as "officials" prior to the start of a poll.

Thanks for reading. This competition will be on an as interested basis. meaning if i don't receive enough interest, i will discontinue the project all together.

I like this idea, it will give the mods, something to work towards,

Perhaps this should have it's own Forum, or sub-Forum rather, I think would be more efficient and placed In one of the Chat mod forums, if Ron can create it, with bonkers approval of course.

What would be the limit of time for each weekly winner, like, suppose Razo wins this week, Is that it for him winning or does he get another shot next week? next month? or next year even?
- I would think once a month per person, should be best, if not once per year, then you will get to choose 52 different people every year.

I would also assume Mods CAN'T nominate them selves.

Where will nominee's be submitted? if not in the sub-forum I requested, where would people be posting there requests at?

(trying to hit the lose bases)

Jones, you have some very strong welcomed input to bring. If this gets rolling I would like to request your assistance in official votes and such. and btw it states up there you cant vote for your self silly boy.

I can surely help as much as possible, only draw back is now that I'm working again, I can only get on here at nights, and days off. Sometimes if I'm Lucky I can get a few min on here Just after work in the afternoon.

But yeah, I'm not much for my own ideas, but if someone else has one, I can surely help shape it into happening!

Hah, after some quick research, sub-forums are only available in phpbb 3.0, so I would propose to move this into the "What Are Our Functions Or Roles?" forum(which I will do), as it's the most related thread to this post. Perhaps keep it in one thread, and let people post and vote and all that crap, and I can throw more detailed info at you in a pm, when you decide to get this launched, or at least put into production.
